Hanes for Good

Over the past decade Hanes has been bringing some comfort to those in need by simply providing a clean pair of socks through the hands of committed partners.
We’re excited to partner with Hanes to help donate new socks and masks to those experiencing homelessness.

“What is scary is how homelessness can happen to anyone. A simple illness can lead to loss of employment, loss of income, loss of property and in the end the loss of a meaningful relationship.”

Steps to Stability Starts with Stable Shoes

Shalin Bhatia completely sees our vision, as he collected lightly worn shoes for those experiencing homelessness. Central OAC will be able to offer our guests a pair of gently worn shoes to those in need.
One of our guest’s sole was coming off of her shoe and she was instantly able to replace her shoes with a pair that was donated through Shalin’s efforts! Thank you to Shalin Bhatia for being an awesome human!
